The entire NineSeries of ARM9-based products are designed to offer designers various levels of feature integration at a range of price points targeted across a spectrum of products to minimize the bill of material costs. Cirrus Logic's Nine-Series embedded processors are provided with all the necessary driver software, as well as Linux and Microsoft's Windows CE.NET operating systems. Cirrus Logic embedded processors support open-source tools for Linux development.
Cirrus Logic also provides audio decode and encode algorithms for formats such as MP3, WMA, and AAC. Cirrus Logic offers developer boards, including several low-cost boards based on the EP9302, EP9307 and EP9315. Cirrus Logic maintains a developer's user forum (arm.cirrus.com) that allows developers to communicate and share ideas and information, as well as a resource section containing schematics, artwork and documentation.
