Design Support

The XDK (XS1-G Development Kit) is a hardware/software development environment that provides a way to explore Software Defined Silicon. Based on the XS1-G4 device from XMOS, the XDK provides a way develop products and applications. Web-based design tools support the XDK and include tutorials and application examples.

The Development kit is based on the 4-core XS1-G4 device. Key features include a 10/100 Ethernet interface, QVGA touchscreen, SD card reader, and high-performance stereo input/output. A further 96 I/O pins are available on IDC headers for user expansion for custom applications. The kit comes preconfigured with example applications that designers can modify for custom requirements. New applications may be downloaded via JTAG for hardware evaluation.
